The user inputs the search query into the Search Query Panel. The user can also Search Query Panel can be used to do any of the following:
- Enter a simple or complex search query, or run a saved, popular, or recent query.
- Select the time range of the events to search.
- Save a search.
- Save a search as a monitor.
- Save a search and its results to a PDF file.
