Each gadget has a header bar with the the name given to the gadget or if no name was given, the gadget type, the date and time that the gadget was last refreshed, and three icons for performing actions on the gadget (see Gadget Options).

The righthand side of the Gadget header bar has three icons that you can click to perform actions on the gadget, as follows:
- Relocate – for changing the location of the gadget within the dashboard.
- Minimize – for hiding gadget results
- Expand – for showing hidden gadget results
- Maximize – for displaying the gadget on the full page
- Restore – for restoring a maximized gadget to its original size
- Refresh – for refreshing gadget results with current data
- Export to PDF – for exporting a gadget to a PDF file for printing
- Edit – for editing the gadget definition; please see Administrator's Guide for details.
- Remove – for removing the gadget from the dashboard; please see the Administrator's Guide for details.
