To add

an Events Gadget:

1. In Title, type a name for the gadget.
2. In

1. Search Query,

1. type the search query to run, based on the XpoSearch simple/complex search syntax.
2. In Time Range,

1. select the time

1. frame following which the gadget

1. display is to be

1. refreshed.

1. In X-Axis, select the

1. type of X-Axis to be displayed:Time or Label.
2. In Group By, select the

1. grouping dimension of the result: None, Log, Application, or Server.
2. Click on More Settings in order to select the Line Type and to specify whether to Show Data Labels.
3. Click the Save button.
   The gadget is saved in the dashboard.
