Replaying data of a Forwarder

Replaying data of a Forwarder

Sometime it may be required to replay (send again) data of a forwarder. XPLG provides an easy option to define a replay operation.

To Replay Data:

  1. In the Data Forwarding table, select the Data Forwarder to run replay on.

  2. Right-click the Forwarder and from the menu that appears, click Replay.
The definition of the Replay is displayed.

  3. Define the replay:

    1. Name/Description (by default XPLG will name the replay with the current date & time and will place in the description the time frame of which data is defined to be replayed).

    2. Date Timeframe - define the time range to replay data from

    3. Input Source - defined which of the sources that are defined under this forwarder should be included in the replay (note: its only possible to reduce source and not adding new sources, for adding sources add a new forwarder).

    4. Forwarders flows are not displayed and cannot be changed in a reply.

    5. Output Targets - the list of targets are displayed, select which targets to send data to (by default all targets are selected).

  4. Click Run.
The Replay is created and is displayed under the Forwarder that it was created from (After the replay is DONE, it will still be presented in the Forwarders table for 24 hours and then will be removed):.
