The Main Menu of the XpoLog Manager console includes the following items:

Dashboards | This menu contains the following items: - Dashboards defined in XpoLog – the names of the dashboards defined in XpoLog appear at the top of the Dashboards menu above the horizontal separating line; enables direct navigation to a defined dashboard by clicking its name.
- Add New Dashboard – opens a dialog box for defining a new dashboard. See Administrator's Guide.
- Manage Dashboards – opens a dialog box from which you can view, create, edit, or delete a dashboard, or set a dashboard to appear on the XpoLog homepage. See Administration Guide.

Log Actions | This menu enables navigating directly to the following consoles of the Log Manager: - Start Page
- Log Viewer
- Monitors
- Reports
- Environment Analysis

Administration | This menu enables administrators to navigate directly to the following administrative consoles and wizards of the Log Manager: - Folders and Logs – a console that presents all the folders and logs defined in XpoLog and enables users to create and/or modify folders and logs.
- Add Logs DIrectory – a wizard that enables adding multiple logs that are located under a directory to XpoLog.
- Add Log – a wizard that enables adding a local or remote log to XpoLog.
- Applications – a console that presents all the applications defined in XpoLog and allows users to createand/or modify them.
- Log Collection – a console that manages all the available collectors defined in XpoLog. The console displays the activity status and summary of each log collector, and allows permitted users to manage and execute the log collectors.

Configuration | - This menu enables administrators to do the following:
- Templates – configure predefined settings for a specific type of log; used to accelerate and automate the configuration process. Templates include the log data pattern, filters, and metadata.
- Save as Template – enables saving a log as a template.
- Export Template – enables exporting user defined templates to another instance of XpoLog.Â
- Import Template – enables importing user defined templates from another instance of XpoLog.
- Wizards  – use the XpoLog wizards that automate the process of adding the configuration of folders, logs, and reports of known applications to XpoLog.Â
- Import Wizard – enables importing a new application wizard
- Configuration Image  – the description of a set of XpoLog components, such as logs, reports, and monitors. A configuration image can be exported and saved in the file system and then later be imported to create an identical configuration to the one that was saved.

Tools | This menu enables performing the following: |
Settings | This menu enables administrators to open a page to configure the settings for the following: - License – used to update the license of XpoLog
- General – includes tabs for configuring General, Security, Mail, Log Settings, Connection Policies, and Advanced settings.
- Log Collection Policies – contains the default storage policy that will be applied on collectors added to XpoLog, as well as the system archive policy
- Bug Tracking Systems – contains integration to several Bug tracking systems such as Bugzilla by the Mozilla projects and JIRA by Atlassian
- UI – used to change the look and feel of XpoLog
- Log Viewer – used to update settings common to all log views
- Environment Variables – used to specify variables that can be used all across XpoLog
- Audit – used to generate a filtered log view on audited data
- About – used to view XpoLog’s version and installed patches
