XpoLog Homepage

Upon accessing XpoLog Center, the XpoLog homepage is displayed.

The homepage can also be accessed from any XpoLog console, by clicking Home on the right side of the main menu.

The main elements of the XpoLog homepage are described in the following table:

Tab BarOn the left side, XpoLog, XpoSearch, and Analytics tabs. On the right side, an XPLG icon. For details, see Tab Bar.
Main Menu

On the left side, the Dashboards menu; on the right side, in organizations where security is activated, the Username and a Logout button. For details, see Main Menu.

Notification Bar

A notification area with a red background, which includes license notification of the expiry date of your XpoLog license, with two buttons:

  • Purchase license – clicking this button opens an email to XpoLog sales with the subject "XpoLog License Purchase"; after filling the email body, you can send the email.
  • Save license – shows the current license settings, and enables uploading alicense file.

Also, if storage is insufficient, the following notification is displayed: The available disk space in the storage used for configuration, installation and data files is too low. Please view the System Status for more information. Clicking the System Status link opens the XpoLog Center System Status tool, where you can view information on the storage use.

Main Pane Displays the dashboard that the user configured to be displayed on the homepage. Each XpoLog user can define the dashboard that appears on their homepage. The default is the Analytics dashboard (see Analytics Dashboard).  
Quick Actions

In the left pane of the homepage, provides shortcuts to XpoLog features (see Quick Actions).

Cloud Accounts

In the left pane of the homepage, provides shortcuts to management consoles for the following clouds:  Google App Engine, Amazon Web Services, and Hadoop.The number of accounts in a cloud is displayed in parentheses near the cloud name.

Clicking any of the cloud accounts opens the Cloud and Big Data Configuration Management console for the selected cloud, where you can create a new account, or manage an existing account.

More Actions

In the left pane of the homepage, provides shortcuts to frequently used XpoLog actions (see More Actions).

Get Help

In the left pane of the homepage, provides shortcuts to the following assistance: 

  • Contact XpoLog – Clicking this item opens an email to XpoLog Support, where you can wriite any questions that you may have.
  • Online knowledge base – Clicking this item opens the XpoLog knowledge base.
  • XpoLog Center user manual – Clicking this item opens the XpoLog user manual.
