Installation Instructions for Audity Programs on SAP Systems

Steps for Installation:

  1. Import the Transport Request

    • Request the Basis team to import the transport request into the SAP system.

  2. Create Jobs

    • After the transport request is installed, create three Jobs for each of the programs included in the transport request.
(Note: The three programs to create Jobs for are listed in Step 7.)

  3. Schedule Jobs

    • Schedule the Jobs to run every 60 seconds.

  4. Update the Job Run Time in Case of System Issues

    • A table named ZXPLG_LASTRUNJOB records the last execution time of each Job.

    • If there’s an issue with the SAP system (e.g., server crash), update the last run time in this table to the current time.

    • Ensure that the time gap between the last run and the current time does not exceed 1 hour to avoid exceeding the maximum number of records transmitted.

  5. Set Up the Connection in Transaction SM59

    • Configure the connection path as per the path provided by XPLG.
