To add a local logs directory to XpoLog:
- In Select Directory, type the path to the logs directory, or click Browse and in the System Files Browser that opens, expand the folders to get to the desired directory, and then click Select.
The path to the directory is displayed in Select Directory. - Optionally, configure Advanced Settings (see Configuring Advanced Settings).
- Click Next.
A Progress box displays the status of the system as it scans the directory for logs, a process that can take several minutes. When the scan completes, the Add Logs Directory Wizard opens. - In the Add Logs Directory Wizard, under Folders and Logs, select the checkboxes of the folders and logs in the selected directory to add to XpoLog.
Click the Save button.
The selected folders and logs are indexed and placed in XpoLog. - The Log Viewer opens with the following message: Select a log from the Folders and Logs panel on the left or Create a New Log.
