An XPLG Center Dashboard is a portal that contains gadgetswidgets. Multiple dashboards may be defined under an App context. Each gadget widget in the dashboard is used to display visual or textual information from the logs that exist in the XPLG environment.

Each gadget widget displays the data that the user requested to view in the gadgetwidget's definition.  For example, three gadgets widgets can be displayed in a dashboard for displaying search results, filtered logs and Analytics summary. Gadgets  Widgets simplify and expedite performing searches and operations on the log file. For example, instead of going each time to the XpoSearch search engine and running a search, you can define gadgets widgets for viewing these search results in different visual manners.

Each dashboard can contain multiple gadgetswidgets, with each gadget widget displayed in one of the available visualizations: Line Chart, Bar Chart, Column Chart, Pie Chart, Data Table, Events List, etc. The gadgets widgets can be organized within the dashboard in any of several predefined layouts. Also, any gadget widget can be dragged and dropped to a preferred location on the dashboard page.

Each dashboard contains a header bar with the name of the dashboard and different actions on the dashboard (see Dashboard Options).
