To set up an SAP Listener in XpoLog for receiving SAP data, follow these simplified steps:

  1. Access Listeners Management:

    • Go to Manager > Data > Listen to Data in XpoLog.

  2. Add SAP Listener Account:

    • Configure settings such as Name, Description, Listening Node, Token, and URL, similar to HTTP/S Listener setup.

  3. Advanced Settings:

    • Enable the account and specify settings under Dynamic Log Creation like Parent Folder, Collection Policy, AppTags, and Log Name Prefix.

    • Define data splitting options (e.g., by device, IP/hostname, or IP mask).

    • Set JSON parsing options including Message JSON Key and Split by JSON Columns.

  4. Listener Data Configuration:

    • Choose the data storage location, indexing node, and set the indexing interval.

  5. Save the Account:

    • Ensure all settings are correct and save the configuration.

For detailed guidance on HTTP Listener setup, visit the XpoLog documentation: HTTP Listener Documentation.

This setup will allow your SAP data to be processed and available in XpoLog for further analysis and alerting.
