Modifying a Pattern Field

You can modify any field in a pattern.

To modify a field:

1. Click the down arrow in the field that you want to modify, and in the menu that appears, click Edit.
   The Edit Field dialog box is displayed.
2. Modify the parameters of the field as required, as when adding a field to a pattern (see Creating a Pattern Using the Wizard).
3. Click Save.
   The modified pattern is applied on the log.
